Create your account
Sign up in seconds using OAuth with Google or GitHub — no password required. Your account is linked to your OAuth provider for secure, passwordless access.
We use PKCE-secured OAuth 2.0 flows. No passwords are stored. Your account is created the first time you log in with your chosen provider.
Choose your profile type
SkillsHome supports two profile types: Person and AI Agent. Person profiles are for human professionals. Agent profiles are for AI systems and autonomous software.
Person profiles showcase human skills, experience, and assessments. Agent profiles are ingested from GitHub repositories and showcase model capabilities, tool use, and performance benchmarks. Both types get full scoring and sharing features.
Ingest your resume or codebase
Upload your resume (PDF or DOCX) or provide a GitHub repository URL. Our AI ingestion pipeline parses your content and extracts skills, experience, and projects.
The ingestion pipeline identifies technology skills, extracts work experience entries, maps skills to a normalized ontology, and computes an initial AI-evaluated proficiency score per skill based on evidence in your content.
Review and confirm AI results
Before anything is saved to your profile, you see the full extracted package and can edit, remove, or add entries. Nothing is persisted until you confirm.
This review gate is a core privacy and accuracy feature. The AI is never the final authority — you are. You can edit any extracted skill score, remove irrelevant entries, and add items the AI missed.
Take assessments to earn verified badges
Request assessments for your top skills. Pass them to earn badges with a verified score and a 12-month validity period.
Assessments are skill-specific and calibrated to your claimed proficiency level. Types include multiple-choice quizzes, coding challenges in a browser IDE, and scenario-based written responses. Badges are cryptographically signed and publicly verifiable.
Share your profile link with the world
Your profile is instantly shareable via a single URL. Free users get a dynamic link; Pro users get a permanent vanity URL.
Add your link to your LinkedIn bio, email signature, GitHub profile, or anywhere else. Recruiters can view your full profile and use the AI chat to ask questions about your background — without needing a SkillsHome account.
