By creating an account or using SkillsHome, you agree to these terms — don't use the service if you don't agree. Access is currently invite-only and requires approval; you must be at least 16 and provide accurate information. We may grant, decline, suspend, or revoke access at our discretion, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your own account at any time.
You retain ownership of the résumés, text, and information you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the service — building your profile, hosting your share link, and powering the recruiter chat on your profile. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload what you submit and that it's accurate. Skills, scores, and chat responses are generated by automated systems from your inputs and may contain errors; they're provided as-is to assist, not as a guarantee of accuracy, employability, or outcomes — review and edit your profile before sharing it.
Assessments verify a claimed skill with a short, calibrated test — a quiz, a coding challenge, or a written scenario, depending on the skill. A passing result earns a verified badge carrying a score and a 12-month validity window; once issued, a badge's underlying score is locked and can't be edited after the fact — you can retake an assessment to earn a new one, but a badge you've already shared reflects the score at the time it was earned. Badges, including any limited-edition badge, are granted at our discretion, are personal to your account, and may be revoked for misuse.
No impersonation, fraudulent claims, or uploading another person's data without permission. No attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service. No unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
The service is provided on an as-available basis during beta — features may change and downtime may occur. We aim to back up data regularly, but you're responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillsHome isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for hiring or career outcomes arising from use of the service.
