Terms of Service — SkillsHome

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SkillsHome, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility & access

SkillsHome is currently invite-only. Access requires approval. You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information. We may grant, decline, suspend, or revoke access at our discretion.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the résumés, text, and information you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display that content solely to provide the service (build your profile, host your share link, and power the recruiter chat on your profile). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload what you submit and that it is accurate.

4. Acceptable use

No impersonation, fraudulent claims, or uploading another person's data without permission.
No attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
No unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

5. AI-generated output

Skills, scores, and chat responses are generated by automated systems from your inputs and may contain errors. They are provided "as is" to assist, not as a guarantee of accuracy, employability, or outcomes. Review and edit your profile before sharing.

6. Badges & perks

Badges (including the limited Founding Member badge) and any associated perks are granted at our discretion, are personal to your account, and may be revoked for misuse. Limited-edition badges are capped and award on a first-come basis.

7. Availability

The service is provided on an "as available" basis during beta. Features may change and downtime may occur. We aim to back up data regularly but you are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillsHome is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for hiring/career outcomes arising from use of the service.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
